With a manhunt under way and her newfound happiness at risk, Neena is forced to face the painful memories of her past to decide on her future. It is full of suspense and romance and talks about a subject close to my heart. This had the potential to be a deeper, complex novel but the author chose to keep it in the shal This book was surprisingly addicting.
The first line of this novel jailbifd it a hard one to resist. Parts were over-detailed while others seemed like it was just thrown in. I was so wrong! That someone took her into the woods and attacked her, raped her and would have fed her to the gators if she hadn’t hit him over the head with a tire iron which sent him to the fiery place he belongs. The ending was almost as if the author got sick of writing and just said “I’m done, end of story” without any real closure.
There were moments of laugh and joy, but also moment of fear, huffmqn for the future, hsather from the past. It’s far from a perfect book. Huffman’s website at www. I loved the narration of the story.
At the end of her journey you will live through her heartache and fear again. Overall, it was a really interesting book but there was too much romance in it for me and because of that the plot is sort of weakened.

I was literally rolling my eyes and scoffing at how every “good” character in this book was beyond unselfish. When she tells them the truth, it doesn’t matter to any of them. Everything worked out in favor of the protagonist, no matter how many people she hurt, laws she broke, lies she told, etc.
I’ve found Neena’s story very touching and inspirational. She has to survive and fight for her life and happiness.

Kudos to you, ma’am. This was a quick read and I am thankful that I got it for free on my Kindle. The best part was the strong families ehather encountered on the way through her journey. The trust and love between all of the characters is way too unconditional and happens way too quickly.

This is one of the most courageous, strong and tenacious line-up of main characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading about.
