A non-Christian would probably find this confusing, so I’d only recommend this novel to Christians. He’s basically saying, “leave me alone”.

It is a very interesting and intriguing part of the story line. It was more interesting to me to discover his history, because it is dark and clouded, and Travis has to uproot many secrets to find out who Justin Carwell really is. First he finds out Nichols was a farmhand going by the name Herb Johnson. The national media and the curious all flock to the little town—a great boon for local business but not for Travis Jordan.

I was able to see visitationn this story is really a journey of how Travis finds healing.

He populates his exciting stories with characters that are rounded out with style and quirks. I think the only reason why someone might not enjoy it so much is the fact that it’s dragged o I didn’t know what I was going to get myself into – reading a well known Christian author’s novel for the first time.
